Here is a quick snapshot of some of the things SDPS students were involved in over the last year.

SDPS at Texas Music Teachers Conference

Ensemble teams playing on 15 grand pianos at the conference

Summer PB&Jam (Piano + Band = JAM!) at a local restaurant.

Piano parties help break up the routine and allow students to listen to their peers. This fall piano party included Halloween costumes!

This SDPS student was invited to perform in the Honors Recital of the ETMTA Achievement Auditions

Music Games!

SDPS hosts lots of practice challenges throughout the year.

Spring Recitals are held in Tyler’s First Presbyterian Church’s beautiful sanctuary.

These students excelled in the TMTA theory program.

Student awards including SDPS Musicianship Awards, TMTA Theory medals and a parting gift for a graduating senior.

This fellow wasn’t able to attend the spring recital so I was glad to present him his award at his first lesson of the summer session.
